AMP Audio Visual began in 2003, when partners Salvatore Alfieri and Tammy Moran recognized a need for audio visual and production services that were both cost effective and delivered a high level of customer attention and satisfaction. Finding both of these elements in an audio visual provider proved difficult as Tammy learned from her two decades of experience in event planning as a hotelier. Salvatore's experience in electronics, sound and recording created a perfect match between the two partners as they developed AMP Audio Visual. As the company began to grow, employees were brought in who shared the same values and vision for the company.

Today AMP Audio Visual has served thousands of events from small ad board meetings to large conventions hosting 5,000 attendees. They have served customers like CNN, Boeing, Opera Company of Philadelphia, The National Democratic Club, Association for Corporate Growth, Morgan Stanley, University of Pennsylvania, School of Law, 3M, Saul Ewing, PNC, and GMAC, just to name a few.

The most exciting event we've had the opportunity to work on was with CNN a couple of years ago. We were contacted by CNN to provide staging, sound and lighting for a live broadcast called Fit Nation. The program was traveling to campus locations around the country focusing on nutrition and obesity among young people. Philadelphia was selected and the event took place at Drexel University. We were over the moon to have this opportunity and to work with both CNN and Dr. Sanjay Gupta. Only later did we learn that we were also working with former President Bill Clinton and that just put us over the top! A phenomenal opportunity and a huge success!

Our continuing success is a testament to our ability to focus on the core values that began the company and to deliver this service to both our longstanding customers and each new customer we have the opportunity to serve, every day. Locating the business in Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania has also provided us an edge in our ability to respond to customers who develop short term needs. Our shop is only 20 minutes from Center City, and Philadelphia International Airport, and less than one hour from Trenton, Wilmington, Valley Forge and King of Prussia. We have also expanded our services to customers as far north as Boston and Hartford and as far south as Washington DC. "What sets us apart is our strict attention to our customers' needs, delivering unforgettable events and our ability to drive savings to our customers' bottom line," says Tammy.

As we continue to grow we are expanding our services to include audio visual equipment sales and permanent equipment installation. We are also in the process of re-designing our website. Our new website will be more interactive and informational for our customers.
