For the second time in two years the Creative Mega Social hit mega heights. On December 6 a record breaking crowd was on
hand for another history-making event for Philly's creative community. The event exceeded the success of last years' First
Annual Creative Mega Social by more than 30%. A new Philadelphia tradition has taken root.
The Second Annual Philly Creative Guide Mega Social brought creatives of every ilk together in an event that surpassed
anything this city has seen before. Filmmakers, photographers, designers, art directors and web developers all came
together at Northern Liberties premiere hot-spot, North Bowl
Lounge n' Lanes for an evening of fun, networking and collaboration.
The Social included complimentary food, drink specials (featuring the Creative Cocktail, a drink created especially for
the Mega Social,) bowling, billiards and video games – plus prizes worth thousands of dollars were raffled off
throughout the evening. The party-goers were able to meet with representatives from some of Philly's top creative
organizations also. They were:
Our own Philly Creative Guide was represented among the participating organizations. Our team manned a table to showcase
the Guide, answer questions and sign up new members. New members that now number well over 1000 as of this writing.
The event benefited a worthy cause as well – (also for the 2nd time in 2 years) an entire truck full of toys was
collected on behalf of the Philadelphia Chapter of Toys for
Tots. Marines were on hand to receive the donations of the attendees.
Philly Creative Guide would like to thank our sponsors for their
support: The Boss Group
and Innovation Philadelphia.
We're already planning for the 3rd Annual Creative Mega Social. If you or your organization would like to be involved,
please contact us. This newest Philadelphia tradition promises to be quite exciting as we move forward into the future.
