Art Directors' Club :: 2006 Creative Annual Awards
by Bill Haley, 1 May 2006
ADCP is the second-oldest Art Directors' Club in America, but ADCP
is not just for Art Directors. It's for everyone
in the Philadelphia creative community who wants
to take their works to new heights. Find out more

The Art Directors' Club of Philadelphia threw a blowout Creative Awards
Show on April 27. The invitation proclaimed that
attendees would "party
like it's 31 B.C." and, in the packed
European Courtyard at Philadelphia's Restaurant
School, that is just what they did.
The Roman-themed extravaganza
featured exhibits of winning entries, live entertainment,
lavish fare, a silent auction and, of course, "schmoozimus maximus." A
record-setting crowd came to view the winning work, network with other
creatives and have a good time.
105 winning entries in 35 categories
were on display, representing the year's
finest creative work. The entries covered the media spectrum from print, outdoor,
photography, video, interactive and the web. New categories this year were Websites/B2B,
Websites/Consumer, Websites/Healthcare & Pharma, Web & Email Advertising and
Motion Graphics for the Web.
"This show is one of the Club's biggest events of the year and it was
a huge success in every way," ADCP president Aneira Puttaswamy stated
happily. "The venue and the displays of winning work looked fabulous,
it was a beautiful day, tons of people came and everyone had a grand
time."
The Art Directors' Club isn't just for art directors. It is for
everyone who works in the communication arts field. The club provides
inspiration, education and fellowship though its speaker series, special
events and socials. To learn about the Art Directors' Club of Philadelphia,
