Results-Focused Marketing Mix by Eastern Technology Council

This fun workshop is about sharing ideas and best practices, and showing you first-hand how smarter marketing efforts pay off in increased sales. You’ll learn how to execute on your 2010 strategy with marketing tools that are aligned with your selling process toward carrying a prospect to a sale in the shortest possible timeframe. We'll show you how to review your existing tools to determine if they meet their intended purpose, how to identify gaps in your marketing arsenal, and how to define and create works of substance and value. If you like, bring samples of your marketing tools so you can assess them with a new discerning eye. And we'll bring samples of works we invented for some of the biggest and brightest companies in the industry. Camera Training: A Two-Session Workshop by MiND TV

Whether you’re a seasoned video producer or you’re buying a video camera for the first time, this workshop is a must! This two session workshop will have you up and running in no time. In the first session, MiND instructors will teach you how your personal camera works and show you how to properly setup for various production scenarios. Learn about focus, white balance, the rule of thirds, exposure and much, much more. After you learn how your camera works, we’ll send you home for a week with a homework assignment. You’ll be required to shoot 10 examples of "good" shots and 10 examples of "bad" shots- you must be able to explain why the shots are good and why they are bad. The second session focuses on what you shot for your homework assignment. As a class, your shots will be critiqued to help develop your camera skills. Mobile App Development Demystified by Philadelphia Area New Media Association (PANMA)

Join us for the kick-off of PANMA’s 2010 event schedule with a look at what it takes to develop mobile apps for the iPhone, Android, Blackberry and more (as well as a brief look at designing & optimizing regular web sites for the next generation of mobile browsers). You’ll learn about the latest mobile development technologies, such as Objective-C and HTML5, and tools like GameSalad, PhoneGap and Titanium Mobile that help you build mobile apps quickly. 1 Trick Pony Lecture by AIGA Philadelphia

One Trick Pony creates advertising and branded creative content. They focus on their clients' needs as if they were their own and devote themselves to creating progressive advertising and design solutions that move their client’s brands forward. Whether they are working with a local brand like Gorilla Coffee, or a national client like Sony Pictures Classics, their approach is the same - create visually engaging solutions that translate across multiple mediums and demand attention. One Trick Pony is led by owners Rob Reed and Keith Pizer. After working in New York City for years, Rob and Keith traded the big city for small-town USA. One Trick Pony is located in the "The Blueberry Capital of the World" - Hammonton, NJ., in the heart of South Jersey's farmlands, in between Philadelphia and Atlantic City. Despite their small town location, they are still cranking out big ideas and eating a lot of blueberries while doing it. COST: This event is FREE and open to the public.
